About UsSG Personnel was formed in late 2013, with a desire and commitment to be the leading supplier of recruitment services to the manufacturing and logistics sectors, across the North East of England.
The founder of the business, Simon Pickering, has worked in the industry for over 18 years within the region, supporting companies with recruitment solutions for both temporary and permanent recruitment. Having built an excellent reputation with a host of key clients, the company was able to start in a strong and positive fashion, due to historical relationships with large companies. Along with a strong focus upon client retention, the company has forged new relationships along the way and continues to grow month on month.
Initially, the company focused on the supply of industrial temporary workers, however our scope of supply has now expanded to incorporate skilled temporary workers and permanent placements. Quite often, we are able to support companies across a number of different business functions, which provides commercial and administrative benefit to clients, as well as working with a supplier who understands the business. Our clients range from small companies through to household brands, who may have production or logistics facilities within the North East.
Our team is committed to delivering first class recruitment services to clients and candidates and this is driven by our values of hard work and a desire to be the best at what we do, whilst delivering this in an honest and pragmatic way; something the recruitment industry is often accused of forgetting.
