Job description

Our client is a market leading print company based in Newcastle who are looking to recruit a Despatch Logistics Administrator to Providing general administrative support.

Duties include:

  • Produce accurate and timely, all documentation required for customer's orders, domestic and international for despatch department
  • Ensuring Despatch admin tasks are produced to the correct standard and in a timely manner to ensure the department operates efficiently.
  • Communicate clearly with all couriers via email and phone, arranging same day deliveries with external courier’s requirements within budget.
  • Producing labels using courier platforms.
  • Updating company management system, showing a log of work carried out.
  • Liaison with purchasing to request PO in timely manner.

Person specification:

  • Well organised, disciplined, and self-motivated, with the capability to balance multiple priorities.
  • • Strong planning, forecasting and problem-solving skills.
  • • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to form and maintain good working relationships internally and externally.
  • • Strong PC computer skills, particularly in Office 365.
  • • Previous administrative experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Hours of work are Monday- Friday 9am- 5pm

Salary is £21,500 depending on experience
