Job description

Our client, a busy manufacturing business in South Tyneside, are looking to recruit a Factory Administrator to provide secretarial support to the GM and Senior Managers, and an administrative support service to the factory.

Duties include:

Management of main switchboard.

Booking conferences, accommodation and travel.

Amending documents, copy typing, scanning, and maintaining the online documentation quality system.

Providing administrative support to the HR department.

Person specification

Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel and ERP Systems.

Excellent team working and organisational skills, with a flexible approach.

Excellent communication and problem solving skills with the ability to adapt to conflicting situations, confidently and professionally.

We are particularly looking for candidates with a Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role ideally within a manufacturing environment.

Hours of work are 39 hours per week

Monday- Thursday 8am- 5pm, Friday 8am- 1pm
