Our client is a market leading print company based in Newcastle, who are looking to recruit a Trainee Print Finisher on a permanent basis.  Tjhis is an excellent opportunity to pursue a career in the printing industry.

Key Roles

• Gaining full training on digital print machinery
• Jobs are produced correct first time.
• Ensure all health and safety rules and regulations are adhered to.
• Follow instructions given to you by your supervisors.
• Any faults with machines are reported immediately.
• Safety check sheets are filled in before operating any machinery.

Candidates do not need any previous print expereince, but some expereince within manufacturing and a steady work history would be preferred,

Hours of work:

 Monday to Friday 2 shift rotation 6am – 2pm & 2pm -10pm.

Once trained this will go onto a 3-shift rotation which will then include a 10pm – 6am nightshift. 

Salary: £12 per hour. This will then go to £13 per hours once onto the 3-shift rotation.

Holidays: 20 days per year, holidays increase after 3 years’ service by one day per year to a maximum of 23 days.
